MiBankPAC

A political action committee is an expression of the rights guaranteed under the First Amendment concerning free speech and association. It is a vehicle for citizens to join together with those who share their political convictions to put their dollars to work for candidates and cases in which they believe.
MiBankPAC is a political action committee created by the Michigan Bankers Association to allow bank directors, executives and administrative bank officers to have a voice in the political process. MiBankPAC was recently divided into federal and state programs thus allowing contributors to designate their preference. Each year, MiBankPAC determines which candidates should receive financial support. Candidates are selected on the basis of their understanding and support of our banking industry and Michigan's business climate. MiBankPAC participates in numerous fundraisers, as well as making contributions to candidates for state and federal elections. Every dollar contributed goes directly to candidates. Contributions are never used for administrative or promotional expenses.
